Since 2017, Doc's Upholstery and Restoration has earned the trust of consumers, business owners, interior designers and antique dealers throughout mid-coast Maine. Each project is overseen by business owner, Mark "Doc" Drinkwater, and must pass a thorough quality control inspection to meet our satisfaction guaranty. Our staff includes professional upholsterers, apprentices, and a master seamstress who excels at custom cushions, pillows and window coverings.

Doc's Upholstery and Restoration is a member in good standing of the National Upholstery Association. We participate in the Maine Apprenticeship Program to train the next generation of skilled workers.

With over 50 years of successful business operations and customer service, Mark strives to deliver excellent outcomes in every project that comes through the door. He's very grateful for all the talented people on the team. He has decades of upholstery experience and is a skilled instructor in the upholstery and restoration trade.
Sue Ambrose, Master Seamstress
Sue has over 25 years of experience. She specializes in marine and cushion work.
Shawn Flagg, Upholsterer
Shawn is a skilled craftsman with over a decade of experience.
Doc's Upholstery and Restoration provides pickup and delivery of your items so you don't have to bring them to us. We use professional movers to transport from your home or business. Our service area in Mid-coast Maine spans from Falmouth to Rockland, whether you are on the mainland or on one of the offshore islands.
